Cookie Friend
This project blossomed through the Interactive Design Method course in just two months. Following the Double Diamonds design process, we explored 10+ design methods and tools while gathering project feedback from professors and peers.
The aim is to make more connections between Youth who live alone nowadays, by creating everyday cooking challenges in their social circle.
Ultimately, we crafted a tangible mobile prototype as our final delivery. I was involved in the entire UX design process and took responsibility for all prototype productions.
01
Discover & Define Phase
-
We picked 'eating' as our focus. In the discover and define phase, we dug into people's eating challenges using semi-structured interviews, market analysis, and literature review.
-
In the end, we narrowed down the problem to students who don't like cooking alone.
02
Develop Phase
-
In the development phase, our goal was to turn cooking into a social activity. We brainstormed, did some mind dumps, and even explored the 'worst idea possible' to uncover the best approach.
-
Ultimately, we crystallized the core features of our app: Collaborate with your friend, and do a cooking challenge together.
03
Deliver Phase
-
In the delivery phase, I crafted a Figma prototype incorporating feedback from our paper prototype and meeting pre-conditions. During usability tests, we encouraged users to think aloud as they navigated through scenario tests.
