Vision is widely acknowledged as the dominant sense in human perception. However, when individuals lack vision or require additional confirmation beyond sight, touch and sounds become important means of investigating and understanding the world.

 

This research explores the impact of touch, hearing, and vision on people's perception in the context of a simple virtual experience using a 3D haptic device, Falcon.
